Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) receives the vehicle speed information from the brake control module (BCM) over the CAN network. The code is stored when the speed signal is found to be faulty, and it indicates that the vehicle's highest permitted speed has been exceeded. The fault can only be detected while driving. The code is general and does not say what type of fault it is.
Mulige årsaker
- The vehicle's maximum permitted speed has been exceeded
- Fault on the CAN network
- Fault-tracing in the brake control module (BCM) is needed, according to fault code ECM-P062C00
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections, or a damaged wheel sensor (according to fault code ECM-P050029)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With the ignition on: check whether the fault is still active and note the fault code
- 2If fault code ECM-P062C00 is stored, look for the cause in the brake control module (BCM) first
- 3Check the CAN network wiring for damage and loose connectors
- 4Check the wheel sensors and their connectors for damage, poor contact and oxidation
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the speed signal from the brake control module
