Hva betyr feilkoden?
The fault code is stored when the engine control module (ECM) detects emission-related misfires on cylinder 2 immediately after the engine has started. The code clearly shows which cylinder is affected.
Mulige årsaker
- Low fuel level
- Clogged or leaking injection valve
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Damaged ignition coil
- Air leak
- Incorrectly calculated ethanol content
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes; camshaft control codes are traced first
- 2Make sure the engine oil is at the right level and that the crankcase ventilation is not clogged
- 3Check the ignition coil on cylinder 2 and its connectors and wiring for damage or oxidation
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the misfire counter for cylinder 2 with the engine running and see whether it stands out
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the intake system, the fuel pressure and the compression
