Hva betyr feilkoden?
The signal from knock sensor 1 must stay within limits that depend on engine speed. If it falls below the limit, the fault code is set. Knock sensor 1 registers knock on cylinders 5 to 8. The causes are poor contact, a loose sensor or a damaged sensor.

- Contact resistance or oxidation at the knock sensor plug
- Loose knock sensor
- Damaged knock sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the fault code and test drive the car to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the knock sensor is tight and has not worked loose
- 3Check the knock sensor plug for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the knock signal in live data during a test drive and see whether it stays below what is expected as engine speed changes
- 5Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment replace the knock sensor if it is damaged

- The engine hesitates, surges or runs roughly during acceleration, slowing down and constant speed
- Reduced performance
- The Check engine light lights up or behaves abnormally
