Hva betyr feilkoden?
The signal cable between the engine control module (ECM) and the ignition coil is shorted to supply voltage. The fault is stored when the incorrect value lasts longer than a set time and stays over several driving cycles in a row. It concerns the primary and secondary circuit of the ignition coil.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the connections
- Signal cable short circuit to supply voltage
- Damaged ignition coil
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If you have a diagnostic tool, start the engine and read the fault status. 'Fault found' means the fault is permanent.
- 2Check that the fuses are intact.
- 3With the ignition off, check that the connector at the ignition coil is secure and free from contact resistance and oxidation.
- 4Check that the signal wire to the ignition coil is not chafed and cannot touch a live supply wire.
- 5Check that the ignition coil is secure and not damaged.
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop check the ignition coil and its wiring.
