The code applies to the exhaust camshaft sensor on bank 1, where the signal is constantly high. It can come from a short circuit to supply voltage or from an open circuit in the wiring.

Hva du kan gjøre

1If you have a diagnostic tool, start the engine and read the fault status. 'Fault found' means the fault is permanent.
2Check that the fuses are intact.
3With the ignition off, check the connector at the exhaust camshaft sensor on bank 1 for contact resistance and oxidation.
4Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is continuous and has no contact with supply voltage.
5Use a multimeter to check that the ground lead has no open circuit and that the supply wire is not shorted to ground.
6Check that the exhaust camshaft sensor is firmly fixed in its position.
