Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM monitors the brake pedal and both of its switches. The code is set when both brake pedal switches show that the brake is pressed at the same time while the brake pressure is too low. The cause lies in the brake pedal switches, their wiring, or the brake control module (BCM).
Mulige årsaker
- Play or contact resistance in the brake pedal switches
- Short to supply voltage
- Short to ground
- Break in the wire to the brake pedal switches
- Diagnose the cause in the brake control module (BCM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes in the brake control module (BCM) and repair them first
- 2Check that the brake pedal switches are secure and have no play or oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the brake pedal switches has no break and is not shorted to supply voltage
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, follow both brake pedal signals in live data while the pedal is pressed and released
- 5Do not work on the braking system yourself; if the fault returns, have a workshop check it with diagnostic equipment
