Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM reads oil pressure through the combined oil pressure and oil temperature sensor. The fault is stored when the module detects an internal fault in the sensor, which means the fault lies in the sensor itself. The module then uses a fixed oil pressure value instead of the measured one.
Mulige årsaker
- The combined oil pressure and oil temperature sensor is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the connector to the sensor is firmly seated and not corroded
- 3If you have diagnostic equipment: read the oil pressure in live data with the engine idling and when the revs are raised, and check whether the value changes
- 4Clear the code and road test the car. If the code comes back, the sensor is probably damaged
- 5Have a workshop check the combined oil pressure and temperature sensor and replace it if it is damaged
