Hva betyr feilkoden?
The ECM reads oil pressure through the combined oil pressure and oil temperature sensor. The fault is stored when the signal from the oil pressure sensor is too high while the engine is running. The module then uses a fixed oil pressure value instead of the measured one.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire is shorted to supply voltage
- The combined oil pressure and oil temperature sensor is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Look for chafed wiring from the sensor that may have touched a live supply part
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the sensor has no voltage when the ignition is off
- 4If you have diagnostic equipment: read the oil pressure in live data with the engine running and see whether the value sits at an unrealistically high level
- 5If the wiring and connector are sound, have a workshop check the combined sensor
