The ECM checks the thermostat. The code is set when the voltage on the signal wire is too low, and the check is made with the ignition on.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the signal wire running to the thermostat
- Damaged thermostat
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check the connector at the thermostat for loose connections and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire between the control module and the thermostat has no open circuit
- 4Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the thermostat
