The fault is set when the grille shutter module (AGM) itself detects an internal short circuit. The ECM controls the shutter through it.

- 2If you have diagnostic equipment: read out active fault codes in the grille shutter module (AGM) and deal with them first
- 3Clear the code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 4If the fault returns, have a workshop check the grille shutter module (AGM)
