Hva betyr feilkoden?
The code is set when the ECM finds at engine start that the signal to the starter relay is too low. The fault is a general one and does not state a more specific fault type.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to earth
- Break in the signal wire
- Damaged starter relay
- Break in the supply to the starter motor
- If ECM-P061700 is also stored: signal wire shorted to voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the battery charge and that the battery terminals and earth connections are tight and clean
- 2If you have a multimeter: check that the signal wire to the starter relay is not shorted to earth and has no break
- 3Check the supply wire running between the starter relay and the starter motor for breaks
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the starter relay
Symptomer du kan merke3
- The starter motor does not turn
- The engine does not start, either always or only sometimes, or the starter motor does not crank without a clicking sound
- Automatic engine stop and start does not work, both while driving and at idle
