Hva betyr feilkoden?
Reference voltage A to the sensors is insufficient. The ECM checks the internal circuits that supply the components, and the code is set when any of them has a voltage that is too low, too high or missing. The code can be set both with the ignition on and with the engine running. The cause may be wiring, a sensor, the battery or the charging system, but it can also be the engine control module itself.
Mulige årsaker
- Voltage supply cable to the sensor short-circuited to ground or supply voltage
- Signal cable for the connected component has an open circuit or is short-circuited to ground or supply voltage
- Damaged sensor
- Battery voltage too low, or damaged battery
- Fault in the charging system
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the battery condition and that the charging system works, and remedy as needed
- 2Check that the relevant fuses are intact and that the connectors to the engine control module and the sensors are secure
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the sensors have no open circuit and are not shorted to ground or supply voltage
- 4If you have diagnostic equipment, read the battery voltage as live data with the engine running and check that it is stable
- 5If the battery, charging and wiring are in order but the fault remains, have a workshop check the engine control module

- Poor performance, and the car lacks power, especially at take-off
- Uneven idle and high emissions
- The engine stops while driving or misfires
- The engine is difficult to start, the starter motor does not turn or turns but the engine does not start
- Warning symbol and text message in the display

- Engine torque may be limited
- Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) control does not take place
