Hva betyr feilkoden?
The code concerns a short to supply voltage in the signal to the A/C coupling relay. The ECM adjusts the stroke volume of the A/C compressor with a control valve, checks how well that valve performs, and can switch the A/C function off at high torque. The code is set when the module detects a signal that reads too high.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to supply voltage, or a faulty A/C relay
- Poor contact or oxidation at the connectors, or an open signal wire; see fault code ECM-P064513
- Signal wire shorted to ground; see fault code ECM-P064611
- Poor contact or oxidation at the terminals, an open supply wire, or a faulty control valve; see fault code ECM-P064519
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check whether the signal cable to the A/C relay is shorted to battery voltage
- 3Check the wires from the A/C relay and the control valve for chafing, loose connectors and short circuits
- 4If you have diagnostic equipment, read the control valve value in live data with the A/C on and see whether it is unreasonably high
- 5If the wiring is intact but the fault remains, have a workshop check the A/C relay and the control valve
