The code concerns the control circuit of glow plug 3 in cylinder 3, where the signal is too low. The ECM drives the glow plugs through the glow plug control module and sets the code when it detects a fault on glow plug 3.

- Poor contact or oxidation in the connectors
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Damaged glow plug control unit
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and that the relevant functions of the car work
- 2With the ignition off, check the connectors at the glow plug control module and at glow plug 3 for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to glow plug 3 is not shorted to ground
- 4If the connectors and wire are intact but the fault remains, have a workshop check glow plug 3 and the glow plug control module
