Hva betyr feilkoden?
The control circuit of the glow plug in cylinder 3 gives a signal that is too high. The ECM controls the glow plugs through the glow plug control module, and the code is set when that module finds a fault on glow plug 3.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact or oxidation at the connector contacts
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged glow plug control unit
- Glow plug 3 is short-circuited to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2With the ignition off, check the connectors at glow plug 3 and at the glow plug control module for contact resistance and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to glow plug 3 has no open circuit and is not shorted to supply voltage
- 4Have a workshop check glow plug 3 and the glow plug control module if the connectors and wire are intact
