Hva betyr feilkoden?
The reading from the clutch pedal position sensor, an analogue sensor relayed by the central electronic module (CEM) over CAN, lies below the permitted range for too long. The engine control module compares the pedal position with other relevant signals, including the pedal switch, to check that it is reasonable. The code is set during driving, and the automatic engine stop-start function is then switched off.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connection in the connector
- Damaged signal wire
- Damaged clutch pedal sensor
- Damaged clutch pedal position sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. The locations are shown in the instruction manual or on the fuse list
- 2Read off and note the fault code, erase it and road-test the car to see whether it returns
- 3Check that the connectors at the clutch pedal sensor and position sensor are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 4Check that the wiring to the position sensor has no chafing, crush damage or loose clips, especially where the cable moves
- 5Check that the clutch pedal moves freely and does not stick
- 6If you have a diagnostic tool, read live data for the position sensor as the pedal is pressed down and released, and check that the value changes smoothly

- Automatic engine stop-start does not work, both at idle and while driving
- The car may hesitate, surge or run jerkily while driving
- The gear change may feel jerky at constant speed
