Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) checks the position sensor against the clutch pedal switch. The code indicates that the sensor signal is wrong, because the pedal position does not agree with the switch on some drives. If the driver's use of the clutch explains the fault, no repair is needed.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose contact in the connector
- Damaged signal wire
- Damaged clutch pedal sensor, position sensor or pedal switch
- Many gear changes made without pressing the clutch pedal far enough
- Long driving with the clutch pedal held down
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1If the driver's use of the clutch explains the fault, no repair is needed
- 2Check that the fuses are intact. The locations are shown in the instruction manual or on the fuse list
- 3Check that the connectors at the position sensor and pedal switch are firmly seated and free from oxidation and contact resistance
- 4Check that the clutch pedal moves freely and does not stick, and that the sensors are firmly fixed
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire from the sensor has no break and no contact with earth (the body)
- 6Have a workshop check that the engine control module has the latest software, as an improved version copes better with harder clutch use

- Starting and auto-start do not work
- Automatic engine stop-start does not work, both at idle and while driving
- The car may hesitate, surge or run jerkily while driving, even at constant speed
- A message and a warning symbol are shown in the display
- The check engine lamp lights or behaves abnormally
