Although the code is named as an incorrect voltage fault, it concerns a fault in a voltage converter inside the engine control module (ECM). The fault therefore lies in the control module itself, which may need replacing if the fault remains.

- 1If you have a diagnostic tool: read the status of the code once the diagnosis has finished, and check that the fault is not active then
- 2Clear the code and drive the car for a while to see whether it returns
- 3If it returns: have a workshop replace the engine control module
