Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the signal to the injection valves and their injection quantity. The code is set when the signal to the injection valve for cylinder 1 is incorrect, or when the injection quantity is too large.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or corrosion in the connectors and connections
- Loose connector
- Open circuit in the signal wire, or in the positive or negative wire
- Damaged injection valve
- With fault code ECM-P120112: the signal wire is shorted to voltage, or the injection valves are damaged
- With fault code ECM-P120111: a short between the signal wires, or the signal wire is shorted to ground
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Cylinder 1 is the one furthest from the flywheel, counted from the right-hand side of the vehicle.
- 2Check that the fuses are intact. Their location is in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover.
- 3Check the connector to the cylinder 1 injection valve for looseness, contact resistance and corrosion.
- 4With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the wires to the cylinder 1 injection valve have no break and no contact with ground or voltage.
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the cylinder 1 injection valve and listen for it working.
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop check the cylinder 1 injection valve and its control.

- The check engine lamp lights or behaves abnormally
- The engine lacks power or performs poorly
