Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) sets the code when, during an adaptation attempt, it detects that the throttle movement is blocked or that the return spring does not work correctly. Although the code is named as stuck in the open position, the condition covers the movement and the return spring function.
Mulige årsaker
- The throttle sticks or is blocked, for example by oil film or dust
- Contact resistance or corrosion at the throttle body connector to the ECM
- Open circuit or short to ground or voltage in the wires to the throttle motor
- The wires to the throttle motor are shorted to each other
- Damaged throttle body
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that nothing is blocking the throttle and that it cannot stick in one position.
- 2Have a workshop clean the throttle body if needed.
- 3With the ignition off, check the connectors at the throttle body and the engine control module for looseness, contact resistance and corrosion.
- 4With the ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the throttle motor wires have no break and no contact with ground or voltage.
- 5If the code returns, it points to a damaged throttle body, which a workshop can replace.

- Depending on the nature of the fault, the power to the throttle motor may be switched off, so the throttle goes to its spring-return position
