The engine control module (ECM) has detected an internal timing fault in its own function. Although the code is described as a comparison fault, the condition concerns a timing fault inside the control module.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses for the engine control module are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual
- 2Read off the fault codes, clear the fault code, switch the ignition on and wait a while so the control module can run its test
- 3Check that the fault code is no longer active when the test has finished. If it is gone, the fault may have been temporary
- 4If the fault code returns: have a workshop replace the engine control module (ECM)
