Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) controls the general warning lamp over the CAN bus to the driver information module (DIM). The code is set when the engine control module detects a fault on the signal that controls the warning lamp. Although the fault is named a short to voltage, the condition concerns the signal itself, and fault-tracing is carried out in the driver information module.
Mulige årsaker
- Fault in the driver information module (DIM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual
- 2Check with buttons or controls in the car whether the functions that are normally controlled work as they should
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the warning lamp has no contact with battery positive
- 4Check that the connectors to the instrument cluster are firmly seated and free from corrosion
- 5If the fault code returns: have a workshop fault-trace the driver information module (DIM)
Symptomer du kan merke1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
Hva feilen kan påvirke1
- The general warning lamp is switched off
