The engine control module (ECM) has registered an internal reset, and that is what sets the fault code. The cause may be faulty software or an internal fault in the engine control module. The fault concerns the control module's own electronics, not an outside part.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read off the fault codes and note which are present before clearing any
- 2Clear the fault code, switch the ignition on and wait a while so the control module can run its test
- 3Check that the fault code is no longer active when the test has finished
- 4If the fault code returns: have a workshop check that the engine control module has the latest software and replace the control module if the fault remains
