Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the system relay, which releases the voltage with a set delay after the engine is switched off so that the control module can save ongoing work. The fault code is set if the relay does not break in time or breaks too early. Although the fault is described as the relay slipping, the condition concerns when the relay breaks.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector terminals
- Open circuit on the signal wire
- No supply voltage to the system relay
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact. Their locations are given in the owner's manual
- 2Check that the connectors to the system relay are firmly seated and free from oxide
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the system relay has no break
- 4Check that the system relay receives supply voltage from the car's electrical system
- 5If the fault code returns: have a workshop replace the system relay
