Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine has demand-controlled piston cooling, and the engine control module (ECM) controls the piston cooling valve with a control signal. The fault code is set when the control signal to the valve is constantly high, which is described as a short circuit to voltage. The controlled piston cooling then does not work correctly.
Mulige årsaker
- Connector or cable is damaged
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the connectors to the piston cooling valve are firmly seated and not damaged
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the valve has no contact with battery positive
- 3Check that the wire is not chafed or pinched anywhere
- 4If the fault code returns: have a workshop check the valve and the wiring
