The code concerns the electrical signal to the swirl damper motor, which the engine control module (ECM) checks. It is set when the signal is incorrect, which can be caused by an open circuit or by the signal wire being in contact with voltage.

- Power supply short-circuited to battery voltage
- Open circuit or short to voltage in the signal wire
- Damaged swirl throttle motor
- Linkage or swirl damper sticking

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact and that the connectors are secure
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the status of the code with the ignition on, then do a test drive to see whether it returns
- 3Check the signal wire for chafing, pinch damage and loose connectors
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the swirl damper motor and its electrical supply
