This code concerns the exhaust camshaft: the signal from its reset valve is too low. The engine control module (ECM) monitors the signal wire and sets the code when the signal falls too low.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance in the connections
- Signal wire short-circuited to ground
- Damaged exhaust camshaft reset valve
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the connectors to the exhaust camshaft reset valve are secure and clean
- 2Test with a multimeter whether the signal wire to the valve is in contact with ground
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: command the exhaust camshaft valve and check that it responds
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the valve
