Hva betyr feilkoden?
This code means the throttle control gives an incorrect range or performance. The engine control module has picked up a problem inside itself, or on the circuit to the throttle unit's damper motor, and the cause is a general electrical fault. The fault is checked while the engine is running.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact or oxidation in the connections between the engine control module and the throttle unit
- A break, or a short to ground or supply voltage, in the wiring to the throttle motor
- The wires to the throttle motor have shorted together
- Damaged throttle unit
- Damaged engine control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Read the fault code with the ignition on and note it down
- 3Check the connectors at the throttle unit and the engine control module. Looseness, corrosion and oxidation are common causes
- 4Look for chafing and breaks in the wiring to the throttle unit, and use a multimeter to confirm the wires have no contact with ground or supply voltage
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, read the throttle position in live data while pressing and releasing the accelerator, and check that the value keeps up
- 6If the code returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the throttle unit and the engine control module
