Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module has picked up an internal problem, or a problem on the circuit to the throttle motor. It is a general electrical fault, and it may lie in the throttle unit, in the wiring to it or in the engine control module.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections between the engine control module and the throttle unit
- An open circuit, or a short to ground or supply voltage, in the wiring to the throttle motor
- The wires to the throttle motor are shorted to each other
- Damaged throttle unit
- Damaged engine control module
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Read the code, note it down and test drive to see whether it comes back
- 3Check that the connectors at the throttle unit and the engine control module are not loose and show no oxidation
- 4Look for chafing and breaks in the wiring to the throttle unit, and use a multimeter to confirm it has no contact with ground or supply voltage
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the throttle unit and the engine control module
