Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module monitors the accelerator pedal position sensor. The code is set when the PWM signal from the sensor has too low a frequency. The fault may come from an open or shorted signal or supply wire, from poor contact, or from a damaged pedal position sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- An open circuit in the signal wire
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- The supply wire is short-circuited to ground or supply voltage
- Contact resistance and oxidation in the connections
- Damaged accelerator pedal position sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Read the code with the ignition on and see whether it is still active
- 3Check the connectors at the pedal sensor and the engine control module for loose contacts and oxidation
- 4Look for breaks and chafing in the signal and supply wires, and use a multimeter to confirm they are not shorted to ground or supply voltage
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment decide whether the pedal sensor needs replacing

- A text message and a warning symbol appear in the display
- The engine hesitates or surges, and it is unclear when
- A message appears in the information display
- The accelerator pedal is ignored during braking

- The control module switches over to the analogue signal sent via CAN
- When the brake pedal is pressed at the same time, the value for the released throttle position is used
- Performance is limited if the fault persists for a long time
