Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module monitors the PWM signal from the accelerator pedal sensor and has registered that it has too low a frequency. The fault may come from connectors, a break in the signal ground wire, a signal wire shorted to ground or supply voltage, or a damaged accelerator pedal position sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Poor contact or oxidation, or a loose connector
- An open circuit in the signal ground wire
- The signal wire is short-circuited to ground or supply voltage
- Damaged accelerator pedal position sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Look at the connector at the pedal sensor and the engine control module, and check for looseness and oxidation
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal ground wire has no break
- 4Look for chafing on the signal wire, and use a multimeter to check that it is not shorted to ground or supply voltage
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool, read the pedal position in live data and check that it follows the pedal
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop decide whether the pedal sensor needs replacing
