Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module checks the PWM signal from the accelerator pedal sensor and has registered that the signal stays at a high level for too long in each period. The cause may be poor contact, a signal wire carrying voltage, or a damaged accelerator pedal position sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance, oxidation or a loose connection in the connector
- The signal wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Damaged accelerator pedal position sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Read the code with the ignition on and note it down
- 3Check the connectors at the pedal sensor and the engine control module for looseness, contact resistance and oxidation
- 4With the ignition off, look for chafing on the signal wire and use a multimeter to confirm it carries no voltage
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the pedal sensor and the engine control module
