Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) compares the vehicle speed signals from the brake control module (BCM) and the transmission control module (TCM), using the BCM signal as the main one and the TCM signal as the reference. The code is set when the TCM speed signal is of too low quality. The fault may lie in the TCM or in the CAN wiring.
Mulige årsaker
- The speed reading sent by the transmission control module (TCM) is wrong
- Contact resistance in the CAN connections
- Open circuit in one or both CAN wires
- Fault in the transmission control module (TCM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes in the transmission control module (TCM) first, since the root fault is there
- 2Fix the fault in TCM and then erase the code in the engine control module
- 3Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 4Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the CAN wires for open circuit and contact resistance
- 5Check the connectors at the CAN connections for loose connections and oxidation
- 6With a diagnostic tool, compare the speed value in live data with the speedometer during a test drive

- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is lit
- The idle is uneven
- Cruise control does not work at all
- Cruise control does not hold the set speed or disengages
