Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the heated oxygen sensor by checking its signal. The code is set when the sensor's heater circuit behaves abnormally. Although the code is named for a high signal, it concerns the heater circuit, and the fault may lie in the connections, the wires or the sensor.
Mulige årsaker
- Contact resistance
- Signal wire shorted to earth
- Signal wire shorted to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the signal wire
- Damaged oxygen sensor
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Inspect the oxygen sensor connections and check them for contact resistance, looseness and oxidation. Rust-dissolving spray and grease should not be used
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to earth or supply voltage and has no break
- 4If the wiring is in order, try a new oxygen sensor
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment diagnose further
