Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) continuously monitors the voltage from the rear heated oxygen sensor on bank 2, which is the rear cylinder row beside the passenger compartment, with cylinders 2, 4, 6 and 8. The code is set when the voltage falls outside the permitted range, and the signal has stuck in the rich position.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to supply voltage
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start the engine, let it idle for a while, and then read the status of the code
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not shorted to supply voltage
- 3Check the connectors to the rear oxygen sensor on bank 2 for contact resistance and oxidation
- 4If the wiring is in order, try a new rear oxygen sensor
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop diagnose further
Symptomer du kan merke1
- Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
Hva feilen kan påvirke1
- Rear oxygen sensor control is switched off
