The module monitors the signal wire feeding the primary winding of ignition coil 2. The code is set when the signal to the primary winding is too low.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to earth
- Damaged ignition coil
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Clear the code, drive the car and read again to see whether it returns
- 2Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to ignition coil 2 is not shorted to earth
- 3If the wire is in order, ignition coil 2 may be damaged and need replacing
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment diagnose further
