Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) monitors the drive signal going to the leakage diagnosis pump. The code is set when the control module finds a fault on that signal, and here the signal is too high. The leakage diagnosis is then interrupted.
Mulige årsaker
- The signal wire to the leakage diagnosis pump is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Damaged leakage diagnosis pump
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the relevant fuses are intact; see the car's owner's manual for where they are
- 2Read and clear the code and see whether it returns
- 3Check the connector to the leak diagnostic unit for loose contacts and signs of oxidation
- 4Follow the signal wire and look for chafing, pinched sections and places where it may have contact with supply voltage
- 5Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the leak diagnostic unit has no contact with supply voltage
- 6If the fault returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the pump and the wiring
