Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) receives information from the forward sensing module (FSM) all the time over the CAN network. This code is set when that communication stops. Even though the code is named after a sequence counter, it means the signal from the forward sensing module is not getting through.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit in the communication wire
- Communication wire shorted to ground or to supply voltage
- Contact resistance or oxidation at the connectors
- Open or short circuit at the connectors
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes across the whole car and fix the CAN-related codes first, as this code can be caused by them
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check the wiring to the forward sensing module (FSM) for chafing, pinch damage and breaks
- 4Check that the connectors are firmly seated and free from oxidation
- 5If you have a diagnostic tool: check that the FSM appears and responds in the list of control modules
- 6If none of this finds anything, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment measure the communication on the CAN network
