Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) communicates with the electric coolant pump over the LIN bus and monitors that communication. The code is set when there is an open circuit on the wire between the control module and the pump, either on the LIN bus or in the power supply. The fault shows up as uneven temperature, and the pump then runs at full speed.
Mulige årsaker
- Communication fault on the LIN bus
- Contact resistance, oxidation or a break in the connections
- Open circuit in the signal ground wire
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check the connectors to the coolant pump for contact resistance, oxidation and breaks
- 3Follow the signal ground wire to the pump and look for a break with a multimeter
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: see whether the code is active now or only stored, and when it last occurred
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the LIN communication to the coolant pump
