This code concerns the sensor in the throttle unit and is set when the engine control module sees a signal that is either too high or too low. Despite the name high, it also covers a signal that is too low.

Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact at the connections
Open circuit or short to ground on the supply to the sensor
Open circuit or short to ground on the signal wire to the sensor
Damaged throttle unit

Hva du kan gjøre

1With the ignition on, read whether the code is active or only stored
2Check the throttle unit connector for contact resistance, oxidation and looseness
3Use a multimeter to check that the supply wire to the sensor has no break and is not shorted to ground
4Check the signal wire to the sensor for a break and for a short to ground
5With a diagnostic tool you can follow the throttle position value in live data while the engine idles and you raise the revs gently
6If none of this finds anything, have a workshop check the throttle unit
