The ECM monitors the control signal that goes to the fuel pump control module (PEM). This code concerns fuel pump B and is set when there is a fault in that control signal, which can come from wiring, the supply feed or the control module itself.

A fault that the CEM has logged itself
Signal wire shorted to ground
Open circuit in the signal wire
Break in the voltage feed between the CEM and the fuel pump control module
Damaged fuel pump control module
