Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) continuously receives the information it needs from the central electronics control module (CEM). The code is set when communication with the CEM stops. The fault causes the cruise control to disengage.
Mulige årsaker
- Break or short circuit on the CAN wiring
- Communication wire shorted to ground
- Communication wire shorted to supply voltage
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connections
- Short circuit in the connections
- The engine control module is not intended for this car, for example a used module with different software or hardware
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Look for the cause in the central electronics control module first, and read the codes there
- 2Check that the fuses are intact and that the earth connections to the engine control module are tight
- 3Check the CAN network connectors for contact resistance, oxidation and short circuits in the connections
- 4Look for chafed wiring. Use a multimeter to check that the communication wire is not shorted to ground or supply voltage
- 5If the engine control module has been replaced: check that it is intended for this exact car
- 6If the fault returns: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the communication with the central electronics control module
