Hva betyr feilkoden?
The brake control module (BCM) sends cancel switch information on cars with adaptive cruise control, and the engine control module (ECM) uses it to disengage the cruise control function. The code is set when the quality of the cancel switch status is too low. Although the code is titled invalid data from the brake system control module, it concerns the cancel switch status.

- Fault in the brake control module (BCM), which should be checked first
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the codes in the brake control module and fix them first
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check the CAN connections between the engine control module and the brake control module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4After battery disconnection or ECM reprogramming: hold the brake pedal down for a while with the engine running to re-enable cruise
- 5Do not work on the braking system yourself. If the fault returns: have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the brake control module and the cancel switch
