Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) is meant to receive information about the vehicle configuration from the central electronic module (CEM) over CAN. The code is set when that signal is missing or incorrect. The fault may lie in the CEM or in the communication on the CAN network.

Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the fault codes in the CEM and remedy any faults there first.
- 2Check that the connectors on the CAN network are secure and clean, and look for chafed wiring. Gently wiggle wires and connectors to see whether the fault appears.
- 3Have a workshop with diagnostic equipment measure the resistance in the CAN network, as this requires measurement.
- 4Do not replace the CEM for a CAN fault unless troubleshooting shows an internal fault. Erase the codes in all modules, start the car and check that the code does not return.
