Hva betyr feilkoden?
The engine control module (ECM) continuously monitors many internal signals through calculations and comparisons to ensure reliability. The code is set when the ECM detects an internal fault in the control module. Some internal signals are then replaced with default values.
Mulige årsaker
- Poorly charged battery or corroded connecting cables
- Faulty software in the ECM
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Check the battery and its connections. Look for corrosion, play or oxidation in the connections and at the engine control module connector.
- 2If the fault is intermittent, it is assessed case by case. If it returns, the engine control module needs replacing.
- 3For a permanent fault the engine control module needs replacing. Have a workshop carry out the replacement.
