Hva betyr feilkoden?
The EPS module keeps watch on the current drawn by the pump motor, and this fault shows that the current is too high. The cause can be a hydraulic or mechanical problem in the steering assist, for example a blocked steering gear or blocked hoses and pipes. The power steering then gives no assistance at the wheel.

- The electric power steering module (EPS) is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start the engine and read the status of the fault code: whether it is permanent or no longer present
- 2The pump motor belongs to hydraulic power steering: check the fluid level and look for leaks
- 3Check that hoses and pipes are not pinched, kinked or blocked
- 4Check that the steering wheel turns freely from lock to lock and that the steering does not stick
- 5Power steering affects how easily the car can be steered, so have a workshop fix the fault soon
- 6If the fault code returns and no fault is found, have a workshop replace the electric power steering module (EPS)
