Hva betyr feilkoden?
The power steering module monitors the pump motor and its own internal temperature. The fault code is set when the signal from the internal temperature sensor shows a temperature that is too high. The cause can be high temperature outside or in the engine bay combined with hard driving, or a hydraulic or mechanical problem in the steering assist.

- High outside temperature or high engine bay temperature, combined with hard driving
- Hydraulic or mechanical problem in the steering assist, such as a blocked steering gear or blocked hoses and pipes
- The electric power steering module (EPS) is damaged
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Start the engine and read the fault code status
- 2If fault code EPS-0030 is present at the same time, remedy EPS-0030 first
- 3Let the car cool down after hard driving, then read the fault code again to see whether it returns
- 4Check that the power steering does not leak and that hoses and pipes are not pinched or blocked
- 5Power steering affects how easily the car can be steered, so have a workshop fix the fault soon
- 6If the fault code returns with permanent status and no fault is found, have a workshop replace the electric power steering module (EPS)
