The front display receives the information it needs from the central electronic module (CEM) over CAN communication. The fault code is set when communication with the CEM is lost. Fault tracing therefore starts in the CEM, since it is the control module that sends the information.

- 1Read the fault codes in the central electronic module (CEM) and remedy them there
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check that the connectors to the display and the CEM are secure and free from oxidation
- 4Clear the fault code and road test to see whether it returns
