Hva betyr feilkoden?
The integrated audio module (IAM) monitors the signal from the microphone and has received no signal at all. The microphone therefore does not work. The cause is a break in the signal wire or a damaged microphone.
Mulige årsaker
- Open circuit on the signal wire between the module and the microphone
- Damaged microphone
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1With the ignition off, disconnect the microphone connector and check the connectors for contact resistance, play and oxidation
- 2Follow the wire between the microphone and the module and look for breaks, chafing or loose joints
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire is not broken
- 4If no fault is found in the wire, have a workshop replace the microphone
- 5After the work, check that the microphone works and that the fault code does not come back
