The integrated audio module (IAM) has detected that the signal from the microphone is too low on the signal cable. It most often shows up as the microphone not working and the other party not hearing you during a hands-free call.
Mulige årsaker
- Signal wire shorted to ground, running between the audio module and the microphone
- Short circuit between the signal cables to the microphone
Hva du kan gjøre
- 1Read the code, clear it and make a test call on hands-free to see whether the fault comes back
- 2Check that the fuses for the audio system and phone are intact; the location of each fuse is in the owner's manual or on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Check the connectors at the microphone and the audio module for loose or corroded contacts
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the microphone signal cables are not in contact with ground (the car body) or with each other
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the integrated audio module (IAM) and the microphone with diagnostic equipment
